I needed to change my payment method and called directTV with no help. The payment was made the next day, however, by PayPal. Now I have received notice of disconnect of my service tomorrow for non payment.
If service is disconnect, I do not plan on a reconnect and I will file for a refund of my March payment.
User's recommendation: Be aware that Customer Service will not be able to handle the simplest issues.
They billed me for a suspended service. Will not credit my account
Terrible
I temporarily suspended my account for 6 months. They have billed me anyway and am trying to get them to credit my account.
They repeatedly tried to get me to pay before they could give me a credit. Now the referred to someone else to review.

As others have written on the internet, quite often the Home button freezes. The only way out is to delete the app, reload it, and sign in.
I have to do this at least once a week. I have complained to various people to no avail. No one at DirecTV Stream seems to care or have the knowledge to get this fixed.
I find this very hard to believe. But for unrelated problems with getting YouTube TV to work, I'd switch to them.

- Home icon keeps freezing and directv does not seem interested in fixing this
Preferred solution: Someone at technical support to take the time and show the acumen to fix the seemingly never-ending problem of the Home icon freezing.

I've been charged for two months of service but have never received a bill. You call the number provided and no one answers for streaming.
The phone is answered by Direct TV and they have no idea what's going on. Gemini box has been blinking since we got it. We don't get any channels and it just doesn't work. I don't want to switch again because I'm sure they'll charge me for a month even though I've cancelled.
I've paid more money in moving, canceling, and switching than I care to do. I really despise DirecTV, AT&T and stupid Streaming!!!

I got the Gemini on Saturday got it hooked up Saturday night now today which is Wednesday they turned it off because I couldn't pay I never got told I had to pay it if I put it on my television I thought that's what it was for I called tried to get some help try to get somebody just to give me until next Friday no nobody helps around there nobody would do anything they they're full of I'm sorry but that's it don't get DirecTV

Your customer service sucks. You should get people that can speak clear English first off and he didnt handle nothing for the reason I called.

As explained in the subject, I would like my account number. Or, I would want a return label for returning my boxed equipment.
- Too costly
I spent about $349/mo and didn’t even get the movie channel and was looking for a better deal. I was on the phone line 1 hour and hung up not talking to anyone. I went elsewhere.
Poor service , forever waiting waiting for help . Didnt know my password and waited an after holding an hour I gave up.

Synopses of movies frequently don't have accurate, complete listing of the cast.
A person can't know whether to program a movie to record or not. A customer can waist a lot of time and may have limited space left to record something they can't be sure.

All fox channels for the Super Bowl is black out look all through the channels can not find any with it on or do I need to get the NFL package
Resolved: Internet down again
My Internet goes out often and technicians can never figure out what the heck is wrong with it. This is strike two the next time it happens Im switching providers.
